**Job Summary**
We are seeking motivated candidates with skills in database/CRMmanagement, recruiting and relationship building who want to find a rewarding and challenging job working with prospective graduate students at the David Eccles School of Business.
This position requires tenacity, energy, and exceptional communication skills.
The David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah educates just over 3800 students, with approximately 20% enrolled in our graduate business programs. The Master of Healthcare Administration program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education. It is one of the fastest growing graduate programs in the School of Business and is offered as an individual degree, full-time and professional, and as a dual degree with theMBA,PMBA,MPHandMPA.
**Responsibilities**
1.Counseling and advanced application guidance to prospective students seeking information about ourMHAprogram. Interaction with prospects can be via a variety of means including e-mail, phone, walk-in, appointment and recruiting events.
2.Oversees application processing and admission procedures. Maintains exceptional understanding and mastery of the numerous application processes and policies at the program and university level. Assists program director with file and applicant assessment for admission and scholarship purposes.
3.Plans and executes recruiting events to increase the quantity and quality of applicants and enrolled students. This includes, but is not limited to, information sessions, lunch with a current student, application workshops, and graduate fairs. These events can take place on and off campus. Travel is required.
4.Superior written, verbal communication and presentation skills to 1) communicate with prospects in a professional, warm and expert manner and 2) present information at prospect events such as application workshops and information sessions
5.Assists in selection and supervises training for our team of Graduate Assistants. Our Graduate Assistants are student ambassadors and are essential in responding to inquiries and coordinating marketing efforts. The day-to-day management of our GA's is handled by our Associate Director, but our admissions coordinator takes the lead on "global" process such as scheduling office hours, training and coordination of the master event schedule.
6.Manages the applicant and prospect database through Salesforce. This includes updating prospect and applicant information to effectively provide service to our applicants and create and analyze reports for program and admission purposes.
7.Coordinating with the Associate Director to ensure superior service to prospects, applicants and enrolled students.
8.Ability to assess an applicant's strengths and weakness through their application and admission interview.
9.Responsible for analysis of current process and suggesting improvements as needed to continually make our team more efficient and able to provide exceptional service.
10.Experience in higher education and /or admissions is not required, but is preferred and should not inhibit an applicant with the above skills and interests from applying.

**Minimum Qualifications**

Bachelor's degree in a related field plus one year directly related experience or equivalency required. Demonstrated ability to work independently, analyze and make decisions related to admission criteria. Strong coordination and organizational skills required to prioritize conflicting deadlines. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are also required.

ADDITIONALKEYSKILLSANDQUALIFICATIONS- in addition to the position requirements, applicants with the following experience and skills will be considered competitive applicants:

1.At least two years' admissions experience in a higher education environment

2.Working with an online application and/or Salesforce, Qualtrics, and social media

3.Succeeding in a customer-facing, service-oriented position

4.Demonstrated ability to understand and navigate an environment that involves complex processes and policies and manage organization of processes including documentation of process

5.Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft products including Excel, Word, and Power Point is preferred.

6.Ability to work in an environment that changes rapidly and demands flexibility.

7. Knowledge of the healthcare industry including local healthcare organizations and industry trends is desirable.
