**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
o Preflight incoming customer files to ensure that all components are correct and ready for print ready offset, digital and wide format printing.
o Quality check press form layouts before they are sent to plating/printing
o Quality check customer proofs before they are sent out to customer
o Provide department support and other duties as necessary.
o Apply knowledge of imposition, color separation, and trapping for press
o Understand job ticket information to determine quantity, special work instructions, and any other special customer requirements
o Interact with customer service, external customers and other business leaders regarding the status of jobs and in problem-solving scenarios
o Play an active role in the maintenance of computer-to- plate system and proofing devices
o Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements
o Generate digital and hard copy proofs
o Output plates and film
o Create die-lines
o Various other tasks as assigned by Manager

**Minimum Qualifications**

Associate's degree in a related area or equivalency (2 years related work experience may be substituted for 1 year of education) required. Two years professional graphics experience (or equivalency) and demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills required. Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or Illustration or a related field preferred.
