We're looking for highly skilled technicians who will enjoy being part of a collaborative team.
Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Operations Technician II to be a member of our Opal, Wyoming team. Reporting to the Supervisor of Operations, the Operations Technician primary purpose is to operate, maintain, and optimize one of the largest natural gas processing facilities in North America. The successful candidate will be a member of a workforce supporting four (4) cryogenic gas processing plants. These plants contain natural gas liquid recovery, treating systems, fractionation train, turbine compression equipment, product storage, and shipping facilities.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*
* Accurately record, review, and compile operations records, maintenance records, test results, service reports, and other documentation as needed.
* Troubleshoot and communicate equipment failures, and equipment health analysis to the operations teams.
* Embrace safety and environmental compliance as a number one priority.
* Monitor equipment, observe temperatures, levels, process flows, and perform regular unit checks to ensure that all equipment is operating correctly.
*Minimum Qualifications*
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Minimum of two (2) years' experience as an operator within a processing facility, and/or within the oil and gas industry.
* Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing to other individuals, teams, customers, and stakeholders of the business
* Possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work as an individual contributor, or in a team environment.
* Ability to work twelve (12) hour rotating shift schedule, which will include nights, weekends, and holidays.
* Ability to demonstrate an intermediate knowledge level of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), as well as, have the ability to learn other company computer applications as needed.
*Preferred Qualifications*
* Associates Degree, Vocational, or Technical certification is preferred
* Minimum of two (2) or more years' of experience as an operator within the oil and gas industry.
* Frequently ascends/descends a ladder
* Occasionally requires working in cramped work spaces and getting into awkward positions to
* Be able to work in high noise and high heat work areas
* Must be able to work in very cold (below 32 F Degrees) temperatures
* Must be able to regularly bend, stoop, move from ground level to high levels, raise/lift from ground level and lift up to 50lbs
