**SCOPE:** Oversees development of policies, procedures and objectives for marketing and selling the Company's managed properties in Park City.

Marketing: Oversees the marketing budget, strategies and implementation objective for the destination. Provide marketing expertise to the Executive General Manager and the management teams within the destination(s). Responsible for the creation and implementation of all marketing ideas, campaigns and projects related to the location. In addition, the position will be responsible for a portion of the affiliate marketing program for the Sun Valley and Telluride contracted locations, with the possibility of future regional affiliate locations being added.

Sales: The Manager will have responsibilities including the management of the group, and tour & travel sales efforts for the company in Park City, acting as the company liaison with industry travel partners.


1. Plans and develops local, regional, national, and international advertising campaigns and promotion activities for Park City properties including:

a. print,

b. online,

c. electronic media,

d. direct mail.

2. Design, implement, and facilitate annual marketing and sales plan for Park City.

3. Oversee the locations electronic marketing efforts including supervision of location website design and maintenance.

4. Facilitate development and implementation of marketing collateral.

5. Plan and administer the Company's marketing operations budget(s).

6. Adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.

7. Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.

8. Act as the public relations representative to all outside contacts in the marketing field.

9. Develop and administer marketing database which includes:

client and prospect information,

email campaign applications,

10. Direct sales forecasting activities and works with the Executive General Manager to establish performance goals for Park City.

11. Photo Shoot Coordination where needed to assist local markets/ Creation of banner ads/standard copy, coordination of unit and property photography.

12. Organize and maintain presence in with updated and accurate photography

13. Inspection and writing of content descriptions of individual units and feature checklists completion in PMS system

14. Cultivating partnerships with local vendors/restaurants and vendors for our website/App as needed

15. Update e-channel partner websites with up to date photos and descriptions - on an ongoing basis

16. Updating of marketing plan vs. goals (i.e. Google analytics and Navis-when applicable) on a weekly basis.

17. Gather information for regular marketing recap report (Promo performance, Google Analytics, etc.)

18. Track and update specials on paid and free listing sites as they expire

19. Update headlines on listing sites on a monthly basis (VRBO, FlipKey, etc.)

20. Utilize Adobe programs to assist with creative graphic preparation

21. Managing VRBO Dashboard including content/Photography/unit listing details

22. Review and updating of content for new website: - on behalf of Park City

23. Creation of by-weekly email marketing campaigns for both Park City, and Sun Valley/Telluride Affiliate Marketing Partners.

24. Location lead during bi-weekly meeting with Revenue Management

25. Support and troubleshooting for rate updates, booking rules, deposit rules in V12

26. Assist with implementation plans for new acquisitions

27. Assist Revenue Management in maintaining records on local and regional competition (rates and trends).

28. Develop, schedule and oversee the travel industry partner sales training orientations throughout the year.

29. Develop and assist in the Coordination of outbound telephone sales and solicitation efforts with location Reservations Manager/Team.

30. Assist in the Generation of motivational incentive programs with Reservations Manager to generate call center sales.

31. Responsible for maintaining records on local and regional competition (rates and trends).

32. Develop and maintain professional relationships with other properties and industry organizations.

33. Develop and maintain professional relationships with all other departments.

34. Work with Vice President Western US on marketing strategies for Mountain Collection program.

35. Maintain compliance with all Company policies and regulations as well as industry standards of professionalism and integrity.

36. Present sales & marketing reports to HOA's and Boards of Directors at scheduled meetings.

37. Participate in site tours with key clients and partner contacts as needed.

38. Perform all necessary responsibilities as directed by supervisory management.

**Additional Duties**

1. Responsible for generation of content for location property management software (PMS)

2. Responsible for responding to consumer reviews on website, trip advisor, and other applicable channels.

3. Attend Meeting and Leisure Group shows, FAM's and special event participation.

4. Assist in the generation of content and collateral with location Business Development Manager for efforts in obtaining Rental Management Agreements.

**SKILL at:** Communicating orally or in written form effectively with co-management, internal and external customers; planning, organizing, assigning, supervising activities; assessment techniques of examining, questioning, evaluating and reporting marketing performance; ability to read and understand technical and non-technical documents as relate to the sales of and contract's for Wyndham Vacation Rental's marketing efforts; maintaining working relations with staff, marketing contacts, and other departments; creative thinking and effective problem solving; computer skills.


1. Four year college degree with concentration in Marketing, Business, or Communications or similar professional experience.

2. Three to Five years hospitality sales & marketing experience and/or related training,


Must be a self-starter, highly organized, and able to work well with co-workers at all levels in the organization and autonomously. Must possess polished and professional presentation and interpersonal skills. Must possess top level business management, interpersonal, and facilitation skills. The position requires a minimum of five (5) working days per week and a minimum of 40 hours worked per week. The position requires the ability to work non-conforming work schedules as assigned.


1. Capable of traveling by car and airplane

2. Capable of making outside sales calls in Park City, Salt Lake City, and out-of-state markets

3. Has the ability to drive in all weather conditions.

4. Must have the physical ability to lift and transport marketing displays, brochure boxes and sales items weighing an average of 30 to 50 pounds each.

5. Must have the ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally over the telephone, direct one-on-one and through group presentations.
