**Job Summary**

Performs routine maintenance, upgrades, repairs and installations as required on computer products supported by the University Campus Store. Provides technical assistance to the University Campus Store, UCard Office, Print and Mail Services, and Commuter services as directed.


Troubleshoots and determines disposition of defective products. Keep current records of all systems in use by the Campus Store and auxiliary contract departments, both hardware and software. Prepare and follow up on products returned to vendors for repair or replacement. 20 hour work week with a varied work schedule to accommodate store hours which includes some Saturdays, occasional Sundays and holidays.

Often: Repetitive hand motion (such as typing), sitting.

**Minimum Qualifications**

This is an entry-level position. Training will be provided. Demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills and the ability to pass a security clearance is required. Some positions require a minimum of six months cashiering experience.


Must have demonstrated human relations skills and be able to work independently. Preferences include: thorough working knowledge of Apple Computers, PC or equivalent component products. A strong commitment to the concepts of customer service is expected from the selected applicant. A+ and/or Network + certification preferred.
